Finally after two years and 19 days with god's grace, my case and My spouse case is approved on July 19.

We got it stamped it today(07/27/2004) at Detroit INS office.

They did not stamp my passport because it is about to expire in coming November. So they have given me temporary card with my photo and other details.

Thanks for all the info has been shared on this portal.

Even though I have not posted any queries, but i learned a lot from this portal

Hat up to Rajiv Kanna for providing this platform for our community

dhi2003,
Congratulations! Is the "temporary card " work the same as passport stamp? Do you need to go back there to have another stamp after your passport is renewed?

Thanks.

works the same way as stamp on passport

Works the same way as stamp on passport.

On normal I-94 from they will paste your photo on top your i-94 number.
They write all th details on the card.
They stamp the card with the same information what they stamp on passport
Then endorse with BCIS seal on top of photo and the document.

I do not need to stamp on my passport again even after mine got renewed.
Anyway stamping is valid for one year only.

hi dhi2003 ,
did u have any address change in the mean time and informed the UCIS? (to check the reason for no RFE)
GKNair.

there is one address change in my case

I do have a address change in the month of May 2003 and USCIS has updated my address in jun 2003. But the new location which is just 12 miles apart from the previous one in the same county. My second EAD and AP will had the recent address.
my third ead is appoved only in 07/10/2004. becuase of that they might not have generated employment RFE in my case which they usually generate in the tail end of the approval process.
