Did people notice on the home page of BCIS that its website started using the term USCIS? Without publicizing it, DHS reportedly decided to stop using "Bureau" in the names of its Divisions. Thus, BCIS has turned into USCIS. AILA has reported that the immigration services will accept the checks which are made payable to BCIS as well as USCIS. How long, though? Hmmmmm..........................................

Whats in the Name Anyway!

Old saying " Old Wine in New Bottle".. goes well with CIS. Especially with TSC, the wine stinks too!! We have seen INS, we have seen BCIS. Now USCIS.. Who knows what other names we have to see before we get our approvals..

Well said Kamal_M. I was just wondering How long it takes for them to change there website. May be they plan to change the name again and untill they finally decide to keep a name, they may not touch it. may be it is taking 999 days or more to update the site.
