I entered USA on F1 Visa in June'2002 and joined a consulting
company-A and changed my Visa to H1B in Nov'2004. Currently in my passport, I have H1B visa (Company-A) stamped and it is valid till August'2007.
Early this year, I took a position with an american company (company-B) and got my H1B visa transferred. My I-797 for Company-B has approved, but
i did not stamp the visa on my passport.I lost my job couple of weeks back in
company-B because of Layoff in the company. So, my last working day with the company is Sept'25th and my visa in Company-B might be revoked by this month end. So to maintain the status, I am thinking of joining back in Company-A again, when i contacted them they are saying that I can directly join the company as they did not revoke my visa and they are saying that there is no need of any visa transfer and i can start working with them using my old I-797 and H1b visa . IS THIS TRUE ? , Please advise.
