I tried to call them several times today. after trying lot of times, I got ring sound but nobody pickingup also not going to auto msg. Anybody has same kind of experience???

Same experience for me.
I read on Murthy's website that Vermont's # is not woring today due to training of IIOs. Maybe that's what's happening at Texas.
Whatever the reason may be, they should have the courtesy to let us know....but who am I kidding, we are dealing with the most inefficient organization.

It is actually on Rajiv Khanna's immigration.com. Here's the text:

The Texas INS phone is working again. I got through today.
No good news for me. FP done in Dec 02 not assigned to officer yet. Didn't I read that there were applicants who did FP in Feb 03 already gotten approval?

HOw did you get your call connected to an IIO? I tried calling TSC today.. It took me a long time before i actually heard the ring tone. Then there was a voice message asking me to dial the 800 Number. I need to speak with an IIO on a very important situation. There was a mistake on my EAD card which I received last week. My current EAD is expiring pretty soon.
Can you please share your experience of reaching an IIO on telephone?

I have encountered the message asking you to dial the 800 number. This has recently happened on some calls to TSC. The trick is to try calling again and eventually it will get thru.
The not so good news is that that Vermont will end its local number in June. My guess is so will TSC.
