Is your receipt date is same as the date USCIS received?

Hi,

My I485 physically reached TSC on 20th Jun. I got FP notice for 22nd Aug, but didn't received the receipt notice.

So of you who received receipt notices, would you please share whether your receipt date on receipt notice is same as their physical reception of 485 packet?

No. The receipt date is usually a few days after it was physically received by the USCIS ... probably based on the date it was actually entered into their computer.

However, with this summer's I-485 fiasco and delays of several weeks for receipting, they are making an effort to see when it was physically received, and they intend to use that date as the receipt date (but not always, because they are so inconsistent at everything).
 
Somewhere in July, USCIS said that they use physical reception (Date stamped or some thing). But not sure whether that means to include June filers though.

Any June filers who received receipt notice, please share.
 
really strange that you got the FP notice but not the receipt notice. Did your lawyer file your case for you? Doesn't the FP notice give a alien#?
