Is visa stamp on a cancelled passport valid ??

Hello,
I am working on H1B and my passport is stamped till 03/03. But my passport expires in 01/03. I applied for a new passport last month and got it. my old passport was returned after cancelling. Now if I had to travel abroad, should I get the visa stamping on my new passport. If yes, How ??

I have a valid AP. Should I use that for reentry ?

Any suggestion/ comments will be truely appreciated.

Check cancellation stamp

If it says "Valid visas not cancelled" I think you are fine.Take AP with you just in case.....
 
It is valid!

I got new passport for my daughter yesterday and asked lady at counter if I have to get Visa restamped, She replied in negative and advised to carry both passports. Also on old passport it is mentioned

"Passport cancelled
Valid Visas within the passport not cancelled"

If you have this, you should be fine.
