One of my friend applied I-485 along with me but thru a difft company.

He received RFE for Pay Stubs and Employment verification but my case got approved (Jan 02).

When he spoke to his Atty regarding the basis for RFE he was told by his Atty that most of the cases RFE is being generated if the prinicpal applicant has applied for EAD.

Some people in INS are under the assumption that once you have EAD you are bound to change jobs and you would have not informed INS about the change so RFE is generated.


I do not know if this is true that most of the RFE cases are related to EAD.

Gurus any idea.

This is not true.

Many of my friends had EAD and AP. Some of them even worked on EAD but they never got any RFE.

I know lot of guys got approved with out RFE even after holding ead and ap.

It is a wrong assumption.

I applied for EAD then renew EAD one more time
and no rfe for employment though my wife got rfe
for name
