Hello Guru\'s,

I got my receipts directly from the INS. I have had some push-n-pull\'s with my lawyer lately. I was wondering if he did something due to which I got the receipts directly. Normally the lawyer will get the receipts directly. I don\'t even know if it is good or bad to get the receipts directly.

Please help !!

FPs come directly to applicants

and courtsey copy goes to lawyer. Thats the way it goes ( for everyone !!)

cheers

Clarification

Just wanted to clarify that I meant receipt of filing AOS; 485, EAD & AP.

No Title

Normally only the lawyer gets receipts. You should check with them
to ask why you got it.

More

AP, EAD, 485 notices go to lawyer and courtsey copy comes to applicant, but for FPs it is other way round, original notice comes to applicant and lawyer gets courtsey copy.

As for 485 approval notices, EAD and AP come directly to applicant, 485 approval original notice goes to lawyer ( applicant gets courtsey copy and for getting GC stamped on passport, this courtsey copy is enough ).

hope this all clears up things.

cheers
