Guys,

1. Today I received the 2nd FP notice, first of all the notice was sent to my lawyer and not to my address and it said 'Applicant copy on it, previously I had received it my own address and another one was sent to my lawyer?

2. The new FP notice has my Alien# different, is this normal, like my Alien# mentioned on I-485 receipt, EAD etc is different?

3. Another thing this is hot topic; but did any one who did early FP got approved early???

Would appreicate your reply?

it's not normal..

for the A# different between the FP and I485 receipt. They should be the same..
you can always try to go early FP, pick a day not croweded.
 
forum123, yesterday you were complaining about no fp notice, how come today you got it? how many days after you contacted congressman did you get it!

2) i have scanned cases that approved 15 days after second FP.
Someone one this board pproved in 15 days. It's pure luck.
Maybe from now on, it's faster, who knows. Could be you will be approved before those did 2nd fp 3 months ago. Anything could happen.
3) Let us know when the 2nd fp notice was issued, how many days after you contacted senator.
 
It is not normal.

FP notices will be sent to both attorney and applicant.

A# has to be same. When you go to finger print office check whether this new number pulling up your file or not. you can see that fp office computer screen.

or you can check same thing in bcis local office.

THAT IS WHY I GUESS THE RESPONSE FROM SENATOR OFFICE WAS THAT BCIS IS MERGING MY TEMPORARY FILE THIS WAS AROUND 3 MONTHS BACK

[ MY QUESTION IS ANY CLUE HOW DID THIS HAPPEN]

THE NOTICE WHICH WAS SENT TO MY ATTORNEY SAY'S APPLICANT COPY, SO THEY SENT IT TO HIM DIRECTLY, BUT IT ALSO HAD A 'C/O' AFTER MY NAME, I HAD APPLIED FOR ADDRESS CHANGE 2 MONTHS BACK, MAYBE THEY JUST ASSIGNED MY LAWYER AS THE MAILING ADDRESS.

I THINK IT SHOULD BE CORRECT AS THE NOTICE HAS MY CORRECT SSN# AS I REMEMBER OLD FP WERE NOT HAVING ANY SSN ON IT
 
JUST TO ADD TO IT, THE FP NOTICE HAD MY CORRECT I485 RECEIPT NUMBER, I GUESS THIS MEANS EVERYTHING IS OKAY, I MEAN I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THE SCREW UP BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT ALIEN#, BUT WHATEVER THIS NEW NUMBER HAS THE CORRECT SSN# AND RECEIPT NUMBER.

I THINK THE OLD FP NOTICE DID NOT HAD ANY SSN# PRINTED ON THEM?

ONE MORE THING THE SERVICE CENTER MENTIONED ON THE FP NOTICE IS 'ESC', ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS?

To your #1, I have the exact situation. Appicant's copy was sent to lawyer's office and I received none.

A # should be the same as the I-485 receipt notice.
 
compaqdb, what was the name of the service center mentioned on your FP notice and was the SSN# mentioned on your notice?

Our 2nd FP was generated on 9/9/2003 and my attorney received it on 9/13/2003. I received my copy on 9/15/2003, my wife received hers on 9/16/2003. We did an early FP on 9/17/2003.

The A# printed on my FP notice was incorrect. The first digit in my A# (zero) was added towards the end. My wife's A# was okay.

When I went to the ASC, I told the rep that the A# is wrong, he took it to his manager, who printed a report which contained the proper A#. Then, the finger printing person, who pulled up my case using the bar code (in the FP notice) edited the A# accordingly. She also asked me to verify other details like name, address, SSN in her computer screen. Everything else was fine.

I hope my case turns out to be an uncomplicated one (with the incorrect A# stuff).

thanks gc_lotto in my case my Alien# is totally off from my earlier number, bu thanks for the reply I will try to do the same and see if the local BCIS center can solve the problem, can you tell me if your SSN# was printed on the FP notice???; as last year when I went for FP the SSN was not printed on it.

To answer your question, the service center mentioned is "ESC" instead of VSC. I believe it is Eastern Service Center. Yes, it has my correct SSN# on the receipt. Second fingerprint notice is in many ways different from the 1st one.
 
I will try to get early FP done tomorrow at Newark, has anyone any idea what is the best time to go there?
