Is this normal ?

I know this is not 485 relevant now but will be eventually if there is a
   problem with my status ?
   Gurus my first H1 expired on Dec 1, 2000. I have the extension approved
   from Dec 2, 2000 to Sept 30, 2003. I sent the revalidation on May 9th,
   2001 to St. Louis and got the revalidation back today. The new visa
   stamped says "Date of Issue" as May 25th, 2001 and Valid upto Sept
   30,2003. Is this normal ? Shouldn\'t the date of issue be Dec 2, 2000. Will it
   affect my 485 ?
