On June 6 ,2006 i went to Immigration(NYC) to follow up on my case. They told me that my approval was entered to USCIS data base on May 15,2006.
They did not stamp my PP and told me to wait for the cards in the mail.
Any idea how long before i get the card. Please share your ideas.

Thank You

nbimports,

I was readingyou post of forum, just wondering if you got cards or, got your passport stamped.

First time on what ground thay said they will not stamp passport ?

I am in the same boat. My cards seems to be returned back, as post office could not deliver it (I do not know) even though I changed my address and got confirmation. Now it has been almost 1 1/2 month and I have not received them. I called USCIS two time everytime they say wait for 30 days.

I have travel plans for 08/04/06 to visit India so I was thinking of going for passport stamping. Do you think that would work ?

Getting your passport stamped is a good idea. But if you are going thru any european country then you will need a transit visa even with a I-551 stamped on the passport. So make plans to get the transit visa in case you don't get the cards in time.
