Is this normal for FP ?

Hi all

My I-485 RD 06/12/2003 :

From the day one, my on line status shows insufficient payment for the fingerprint fee...(content given below.)

INS received FP print fee. we sent another $50 to INS. INS returned the check back. But status appears the same. Do i have to worry ?


We have determined that there was an insufficient payment for the fingerprint fee for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. On June 12, 2003 we sent you a notice of this, with an opportunity to submit the fee. Your case is being held in suspense until we receive your fingerprint fee. For more information, please refer to the notice we mailed you. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
 
Better call INS

You may better call the number given, and resolve the issue, otherwise they may delay the process.

Hi,

My wife's on line status shows the same message. We spoke to our lawyer who says this is usual BCIS on line status error and not to bother. We even offered to pay the short FP fee as shown. He says this is not required and has shown us the proof of the checks being cleared. Dont know what to do. As confused as you are.

Me and my wife both applied AOS.

RD : 06/19/03
ND : 07/02/03

And from day one my wife's online status shows what "ss_guy" posted.

Called several times on (800) 375-5283. Did not received any staisfactory answer from them. My employer told me that the lawyer has the copy of checks which has been cleared already, and my lawyer twice sent the photcopy of the cleared check. But till date the staus did not changed. Don't know what to do.... As confused as you guys are. : :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Online status is not updated regularly

The only contribution i can make to this thread is that the FPs are not being updated online or on the phone.

I have seen several posts in here complaining of their FP not being updated online. Its the same case with me too.

So, i think u can stop worring and hope for the good.
