Is this I-140 approved ?

Just now got 2 mails each - one for I-485 and one for I-140.
As some of you know I had received email for I-140 approval on Jan 24th. Today all the emails state this -
"Current Status: On January 26, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case."

So, is my I-140 approved, or was that just a mistake ??
 
did you call USCIS or made any enquiry, this is std message they update for any type of enquiry

yes, my lawyer made an enquiry for 140 on jan11, and then i got the approval email for 140 on jan 24th, but no enquiry had been made for 485. I am just worried that they might have sent the mail for 140 approval in error, considering how "intelligent" they are !
 
As gchunger guessed it, it might be that approving officer is responding to your attorneys inquiry. Even my lawyer submitted inquiry on 1/12/04. Let us wait for tomorrow to see if I get similar status change on I140.

Don't worry. I strongly believe that you I140 is approved and no going back.
 
Wait till next week then ask your employer/lawyer about I-140 approval letter they must received it.
 
I hope so too. These reps on the phones are so duh! I asked the lady could it mean my 140 is not approved, she says ya it could have been a mistake. And not at all willing to say anything more than what that stupid uscis.gov site tells me. Just wait for 30 days....
 
All_names_are_reserved , i would sugest do not call these call center ppl many times because that may trigger a RFE on pending applications.

this is just my guess......
 
my advice would be do not call yourself ask lawyer to put a case enquiry...
because most of the time these call center ppl will repeat same thing what you see online .... sometime if that person is kind they can transfer you to an officer to talk, but this happens only in million....

don't worry your I-140 is approved.....
