Several weeks ago, I got a mail "Request for initial evidence", asked for form I-693 and G-325A. On the request letter, it said"Place this letter on top of your response. Submission of evidence without this letter will delay processing of your case and may result in a denial." I didn't read it carefully that time, so instead of mailing the original letter, I mailed a double face copy with all my evidence. I'm wondering that is this a big problem, in that case, what should I do? Are there any way I can mail the request letter to them? Or how can I check whether it's gonna be ok with the copy one. ]
BTW. I checked the immigration.gov, the case statue says:
Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
Current Status:
On September 22, 2005, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
Does this mean everything is ok? Or it means nothing.
I'm really worried about this one. Someone please help me, and thanks for help!
