Is this a new format of replying message about I485 status request?

I have submitted my I-485 three months ago and didn't get anything yet. So I wrote to CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov to ask for the current status of my I-485 application.

The replying message is attached at below. I noticed that it is not exact as what other peoples posted on this forum. The part with bolded fonts sounds new to me. I didn't recall anything about 120-day wait and their attitude about weekly inquiries. Maybe they are using new format now.

Related question: Is it good to send email to FBI about my name check status right now? Or should I hold for 120 days?

------------------------------------------
This is to inform you that the I-485 in question is still pending. The
reason
that it is still pending is that USCIS is awaiting NAME CHECK results
from
the
FBI. It may have been a long time since we sent the name, but USCIS has
no
control of the time it takes. USCIS also does not have dates as to when
the
Names
were originally sent to the FBI, we can only confirm that they in fact
were
sent.
Please allow 120 days before additional inquiries. In the future we
will not
be
addressing weekly inquiries.

Please Note: If the principal is not adjudicated then the derivatives
will
NOT
be adjudicated.
We apologize for any and all inconvenience this may cause.

Thank You

xu111,
I got the same reply yesterday. Looks like most of the April cases are now stuck in NAME CHECK. I'm glad that the reply did cause an LUD on my I-485 indicating that they might have looked at my case and just did not send a standard reply. What do you think?

hens4rth:

There is no LUD for me. I have no idea whether a LUD means anything. I do wish it helps your case. Are you going to send email to FBI right now? Or would you wait? USCIS mention the 120-day period because FBI claimed that more than 98% name check have been done within that time window. Let's cross our fingers.

There is no harm in sending an email to FBI because it takes 3-6 months to get a reply from FBI anyway.

That is also what I think. Will do it right away. At least FBI will tell me when the name check request was sent to them.

xu111,
can you please post the email address and format to send to FBI if you already have it handy?

Send mail to FBI Immediately

To XU:

Send mail to FBI for updates on Name Check since FBI are taking more 6 months to respond to enquiries made by email.
Currently they are responding to emails sent on February 2005.
Thanks

Here is the mail template I copied from somewhere on the forum. Forgive me that I don't have time to link the original post.
