Is there any time-limit for taking a decision on RFE

I wonder if there is any time-limit set for disposing a case by Service Center after receiving a reply to RFE.

there is no time limit that i know of, i have seen responses to a RFE reply causing approvals in a couple of days and also responses to a RFE reply taking almost 2 months.

To put a positive spin on things, atleast your case is being worked on and is probably 1 step closer because of the RFE

USCIS will mention no of days, within when you should reply , in the RFE itself. Normaly the range is 30 days - 90 days
