Is there any harm in calling IIO...

I called VSC 2/3 weeks back and spoke to IIO, she told that my case is under review, I did not hear any thing from VSC until now, Can I call the VSC again or wait for some more time.

Is there any harm in calling VSC frequently. Please advice or share your experiences in calling VSC...

Thanks for your reply. You are correct there is no additional advantage in calling the IIO.

If I am not clear in previous message, can anyone tell me how much time it will take to get response from VSC after the case is under review.

I was approved on 4/17.... never called IIO

There are several others who called IIO several times ... some got it, some are still waiting.

I agree with Girish.... whats the point.

But if you have nothing better to do... enjoy the call...

My case dates are exactly as yours...RD 11/13/01 and ND 12/06
EAC 02056*****. I got an RFE on March 20th and BCIS Recieved on 22nd April..and I am waiting for approval. My wife's case is unchanged.
My advise is..just wait another week or so, you should hear any time. I guess they should be ending NOV cases soon. Your might be one of the last cases before they end. Just don't worry.
By the way which state you live, It also depends on the state (Maybe)
 
unless u change address via AR-11 and not sure it's updated then u can call, or any letter u recieved from them which is not up to ur knowledge then call them otherwise no use wasting thier time and prolonging the approvals
 
Call them again if u wanna be humiliated. Thats what
they did to me when I called the second time. Seems
like they are trained in humiliating people or who knows
maybe thats how they were raised.
 
They keep logs

So if you call before the date that they gave you, they might get pissed. I dont think it will affect you but why take the chance?

I have called twice. Once after 540 days... was told i will hear in 2 weeks... so called after two weeks... was given the 30-60 days routine! oh well
