I have not seen much. What is going on in TSC in July? They are just sorting
the cases???

Mine has changed

Mine has changed saying that my I-485 has been approved. But it is an error.

My name check is pending, whereas my wife's name check is cleared in 2003.

Got a FP2 notice in June to be done on Aug 9.

How did you know it is an error?

Not sure what is going on TSc but, in City Hospital , YES :D :D

Dear Sharley,

It's very simple.

14 days passed, did not received any approval letter.

Called TSC. The officer told me that my case is not yet approved. I asked what about the LUD changes. She told me that TSC does not care about what LUD says and why it changes. That's it.

I thought you mentioned your Lawyer got the approval notice ?
Did he sent you a copy or was it a mistake ?
I am curious because i got the same email on 7/12 but nothing in the mail .

Hello All

Mine and my wife's I-485's have been transferred to Houston local office and we got call letters for the interview. Did anyone attend an interviewfor adjustment of status? if so please share your experiences. Also let me know if there is a need to hire a lawyer to accompany us at the interview.

Unless there is some special circumstance such as an arrest on file or some other complicated situation you do not need to take an attorney with you. I do not have any personal experience but from what I have read, most interviews are very straightforward. The officer generally asks a few questions such as your birth date, date of marraige etc and then stamps the PPs. You should have received a list of documents to bring to the interview. Make sure you take everything. It should be smooth sailing for you. Good luck.

Also please follow the thread for local offices that can be found at the very top of the 485 forum page. You will be able to meet a lot of people with interview experience. Again be confident and just provide all the documents they have asked.

The only special circumstance what I see is my current wage is less than the prevailing wage, would this be a problem at the 485 interview?

TSC vacations time

What a slow July in TSC! It looks like most of TSC employee go on for vacations.

When is the end of this double life :(

Everyday looks like a year....

B.T.W. from some unconfirmed sources: the massive LUDs in July is caused by the database queries operation to get the statics for backlog cases in USCIS. Not for any meaningful process. So let us go back to sleep^^^^^^
 
My 485

Although my wifes 485 saw some LUD changes in July. My 485 has not seen a LUD change since the time they wrongly transferred it to a local office in Miami. I am not sure why there was no database update on my case. For me TSC has been on an indefenite vacation :) Lets see what happens in October.

My wifes 485 got approved yesterday. I got my approval in Jan 05. We applied on June 2004. EB2 category.
 
Hi all,
Me and my wife had our Interviews today at Houston office. Everything went on well. Officer checked my H1B documents and asked regular questions about arrest and stuff and made us sign and finger print on I-551 form and took mine and my wife's I-94s and said we are all set and we can go now and went out of the office before we could ask him anything.

any comments are welcome.

Did you have any arest or anyting that could raise a red flag? If not then seems like you are very near to getting the approval.
