Is there a phone# I can call to find out 485 receipt number?

I have mailed my AOS packet on 19th July. Is there any automated INS phone# I can call to find out my receipt#?

I have my A#.

U have your A# meaning u should have your receipt. Look at the top left corner of the 485 receipt and there will be a SRC-01-xxx-xxxxx there. That\'s your receipt number.
 
Where to find A# number?

Hello,
I just filled for I 485. Can you guys tell me how do I get A#? Is it on the recipt of I 485 application. Also My lawyer tells me that it will take 60 days to get a recipt and only after that I can apply for EAD and AP. Please help.

Most probably you used the A# from I140 approval notice. You will get a fresh set of A#s in your 485 receipt. That is what you use to trace your case in INS. Wait for 485 receipt.
 
Is it possible to get SRC no from A#

   I have receipt of I-485 and A#. Last month, I have applied for AP. Is it possible to find about my case without calling local INS.
Please suggest something.
 
Separate SRC # for AP

However, it should be traceable thru your 485 SRC. call TSC and talk to an IIO. You might get some info.
