I heard (could be a false rumour ) regarding change in eligibilty criteria for permanent residents seeking US citizenship. Just checking to see if there is any truth to it. Presently the criteria is 5 years after getting greencard with at least 30 months stay in US ( Out of 60 months or 5 years) and mai ntaining the green card status ( not staying out of US for more than 6 months at a stretch). Now i heard that at least 30 months stay in US is changed to NOT MORE THAN 12 months. I looked every forum as well as US immigraion official website and did not see the change. Wanted to confrm if there is any truth to this rumour.Please respond
