I think Michael was right. Last month NSC I-485 processing date was 10-99 and this month it went back to 8-99. According to one of the lawyer, they had missed some old files and started processing newer files, but apparently they realized the mistake. My ND and RD is 7/2000, FP is 2/2001. Original AVM said 465 days, now it says 560 days.

i agree with michael. it seems nsc is processing backwards but the reason is, as some have already pointed out earler, the way processing goes. the svc cntr always processes in the order of recpt date AND if the pd is current. since in the last two months there has been fairly big jumps in eb3 pd, there are quite a few eb3 apps eligible to be adjudicated.
atleast this is my understanding ...
