Is the marriage right before filing 485 likely to be questioned in Vermont?

My friend got married right before he filed 485 with Nebraska in early 2001. His wife lives in a different city because of her job. Now I heard that he got an interview request from INS Nebraska. My friend also mentioned that people who got married right before the filing and later on live in different cities are very likely to be interviewed.

Has any one heard any similar experience here with Vermont center?
Or any comments?

Marriage just before I-485 submission should not cause any problem. I did that myself. No trouble at all. Living in different cities later on may be a bit questionable. I did not have that experience, though.
