I was on F1 OPT untill June 04 and before my OPT expired my employer got a H1 approval with the start date of 1st Oct 04.
Meanwhile bcos i am out of status for the 4 months June To October, I had to go to my home country india and got a H4 visa stamped and came back to US a month ago.
Is my H1 still valid ?
In case its valid , Do i need to get the H1 visa stamping done in India only to start working or anywhere across the border is fine?
