Is the FP location important ??

My wife and me are scheduled to go for FP at Newark NJ.
since my wife is appearing for her exams in Califonia ,can she go and do her FP in California and me in Newark ?
In other words, do have to always go the location given by the INS?
Even is she does her FP in California will the FBI send her results to INS Vermont ?

I do not think that you can do it since I
know about Newark where they check every detail
on your notice before even letting you enter.
You can probably request this kind of special
arrangement by applying for temp change in address.
Also bear in mind that the notice clearly says that
rescheduling your FP will delay processing .

I don;t think it is worth all this effort. I guess we have waited long enough for FP and i don\'t think it would be wise to delay by re-schduling.
