Is the blue signature card required?

I am filing I-765 to TSC for EAD. It looks like the blue signature card is not required anymore. Will anybody please confirm this? TSC guy\'s response will be more valuable. Thanks.
 
Blue signature card is required !!!!! but the finger prints is not required

For EAD the signature has to fit in the blue signature box and is mandatory
but the Finger print is not required for EAD

when u get ead card it says Fp not available

But when u go to get Interim EAD card at INS then they may take your FP for EAD
