Is previous H1B gap an issue in AOS interview

Will have AOS interview later this month, but I am kind of worried. In 2003 when I transferred H1B from one company to another I had 4 months gap between the two jobs, INS approved the H1B but I had to go back to home country to get visa. I got visa and came back. Then I met my USC husband and got married last year, and applied for GC. I got EAD, AP, and initial 485 interview notice.

Any one can share some experience? Will INS dig out my past H1B gap and deny my 485 during interview?

Very anxious, please help.

don't worry

heard from somewhere else, INS only care about your status since last time your enter US.

you may want to consult a lawyer.

I dont see a problem here. Being the spouse of a USC, you are pardoned for not maintaning valid non-immigrant status. The interview would be very short and the officer would concentrate more on checking if your marriage is bonafide and proof of financial support. You may still want to consult an immigration lawyer to make sure.

Good Luck!
