Is Postponing FP safe ?

My friend went to India and he got his FP notice on the same day he left. He will be comming back by the scheduled date but his wife may not be able to make it on that day. He is thinking to postpone her FP Schedule.

Is it safe Postponing FP schedule ?

I know it is possible to Postpone but is there any complications by postponing ? Is it delays process ?

Please suggest.
 
No Problems

I postponed my FP since it was right around Christmas. Got a new appointment a month later. They didn\'t send my wife a new appointment since they didn\'t notice that we had returned both FP notices with a request for rescheduling. The ASC folks started to give us grief until they noticed that her reschedule notice was stapled to mine, and it was their goof. We got both fingerprints done with no problems after that. It\'ll cause around a five week delay.
 
Postponing by 3 days - is it okay? or would that cause delays?

We are planning to postpone our Wednesday FP to Saturday after the scheduled date. We were told by the FP center that we can come on any Wed/Sat for 2 months after the scheduled date if we can not make it on the scheduled date.

Do you think postponing by 3 days will delay the whole process?
