Is Online Printed Passport form acceptable at Oath Ceremony

We do not have this in Chicago....It is not a bad idea....perhaps, USCIS and State Dept....should add option for N-400 applicantion to automatically apply for US passport. It is a good revenue source for government, it streamlines the process, as USCIS already has all data one needs for DS-1 application.

I see several problems with a single application solution (N400 denials, pp fee changes, N400 delays causing pictures to become older than 6 months etc.), but here is no good reason that Dept of State can't have an authorized person collect the passport applications at the Oath ceremony as they do in San Francisco.

why is the letter in yellow paper? I did attend the interview in feb 2010 01 in Boston. The officer said that i passed the interview but by finger prints will be expired by my next oath in May 2010. so he scheduled me for another finger print for 16 feb 2010. I did go for that. The officer told me that i will be getting a letter in the mail after the finger prnting for my oath. So on feb 1 2010 after the interview hw gave me a letter stating that the decission can not be made at this time - reason expired finger printins. It is 6 weeks now, i did not get the oath letter. When is the oath? can any one tell me? Pls

WBH, it is OK to fill out the application before you are naturalized. You just can't sign it as that has to be done AFTER you swear that everything on the applicaiton is true. So no Crime committed :)

jpboston/sanjoseaug20:
At the SF DO, when you go in for the interview, they hand you a gray envelope with the passport form (and a couple of additional flyers) in it.
You can fill out the form (except the signature part as the form clearly tells you NOT to sign the form until asked to so so).
The specific form number is DS 11 10 2007 2 (The one you print off online ends in 1) and in the space below the signature where it says "(Seal) Signature of person Authorized to accept applications" it is printed "OATH ADMINISTERED AT NATURALIZATION CEREMONY" (don't have the exact verbiage).
They do a group 'Passport Oath' after the Naturalization Oath and then they tell you to sign the application. So nobody from the Passport Office actually signs the passport form and you can't take the form anywhere else as the space for the acceptor's signature is taken up by the pre-printed phrase.
(and yes, they do take the NC)

Just curious, why did you fill out the 2007 version of DS-11, when there's a 02-2008 version online?
