Is October dead?

Guys:

Looks like October is dead!!!!

The INS is still clearing cases from prior months and good for those guys who have waited even longer than us.

They are few October cases getting through but a majority of cases are going nowhere.

This wait is horrible. I check the INS online 50 times a day hoping that the message will change. This is getting very frustrating.

I wish I had done Consular Processing. For all those guys who plan to adjust status or have recently filed you may want to convert your application to CP.

From what I see in this site, people normally get approvals when they stop bothering for thier approvals. Frequently checking only adds to your frustration.

So my advise is, stop thinking about it for a while and you will get over it.

Remember the audit?

Lots of cases were moved towards officers desk before to audit to provide them with enough work. During the audit, no files were moved and computer systems were not updated.

After the audit, the cases marked for approval moved to contractors to print the reciept and hence we saw a flood of approvals in the last week.

Things may be getting back to normal state now. So we all have to be patient once again.

I hope there is another audit and all officers are loaded with more work. At least that way they work!!!!
