We arre planning a trip this summer to India and I have a question related.
After reaching India we planned to go on some domestic tours .
While on these domestioc ravel some times we need show an id for travel.
On reaching India we wanted to place USPP in secured place and carry only OCI card for domestic travel.
Does this fulfill the requirements in India or we need to Present USPP too for domestic travel?
Any experiences.
Thanks.

you should be able to use driver license/state issued ID (not drivers license) from US for ID purposes. Alternately, AAA issues international drivers license for a fee and is valid for one year from date of issue. AAA issued international drivers license can be used as ID. AAA approach will eliminate risk of losing passport/US drivers license/State issued ID, etc.

If you have valid India driving license Or PAN card or Voter ID card then that is enough for you. FYI you can get PAN card delivered to you in US. Google” PAN Card for NRI”. Domestic airlines in India accept Driving license, PAN card, Voter ID card, and passport. OCI card is also ID.
