I will visit the nearest Social Security office next week and update my status as a new US citizen.

Do I need to bring my original Naturalization Certificate? Can I bring only my new US passport as evidence for them?

Your US passport is proof of citizenship and as such can be used to update your status with the SSA.

danny1968, yes, passport is god enough, that's what I did. I agree, most of your questions could have been answered on a single thread. However, on the other hand it is good to have specific threads with specific answers, so I am not going to complain too much.
