Hello guys,

I have a I-485 notice date of June 12, 2006,
Just got a notice for Fingerprinting scheduled to be this Saturday, July 1st 2006.
Here we have these dates:

wantmygcnow:

ND - 05/01
FP - 06/04

Lazerthegreat:
ND: Oct. 19, 2000
1st FP: May 04, 2004

Are they processing the applications faster now or am I a lucky one?

Thank you for your comments.

I dont think you are the lucky one. What the service centers are doing now is to get the fingerprints of the applicants as soon as they receive their applications. After the biometrics it can takes months or years... until they approve it, if they do not ask for RFI, or RFE later on...

Just chill out, relax, and sit back... you have a long way to go...

You are the luck one,at least than poor Comcast,

POOR COMCAST!!! Just for the asylee GC, he waited for almost 15 years,
POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

thank you guys..

i just dont get why some people waited so long until a little FP notice, while other (after 2005) will get FP so quick...

I have been away from this forum for a while- Has tha CAP been removed or not yet?

Thank you again,
M

We have a number of 05 and at least one 06 approval on this forum. So you might get your approval in 6 months unless there are unusual complications with the namecheck.

Good luck.

They just gather information and try their best to have files complete before time arrives for Immigration officer to review the application. For example I received a FP notice in May 2004 but have gotten GC in 2006.
Just chill and do your life activities. Otherwise you will be anxious and unhappy for no apparant reason.

You will be lucky if they transfer your case to TEXAS CENTER . If they leave it in NEBRASKA CENTER you will wait XXXXdays .I dont know what is a real deal to send bio3 and medicals so fast(when medicals expire in 1 year) .it looks like they need money to pay for USCIS surgeons . and sell more vacines . i wish a hurricane or asteroid would take care of NEBRASKA CENTER(so they could feel how easy to be asylee in US):)

when medicals expire in 1 year
These morons lead you into belieiving that medicals expire in one year, as they did it to me (and thousands of other asylees) lying that I was supposed to pay for the EAD, even though I had unrestricted SS card and state ID. According to my attorney, medicals do not expire. If the CIS initiated adjudicating your I-485, it it their problem if it takes longer than one year.
