So I called 1800 number and the representative say the request of evidence means My finger Print and i don't have to worried about it, and I did finger print at 7/15 , has been almost 3 month, why it still show this info? Should I be worried? does anyone else has the same status like me after almost 3 month of finger print?

Pls advice the matter Thank You!

Hi
Dont worry too much. Athough it is a little bit longer than most other cases, you have already received YL. So the 'case transfer' message and IL will come at any time. They do not forget you. The on line status will not be updated until 'case transfer'.
Good luck

Do not worry, the processing times sometimes are longer. E.g. my wife and I sent our papers together and she got transferred 2 weeks before me. So no rules really!

Thank You for your reply, Could it mean My name check is pending still? that's why they didn't get my info yet?

nyc pretty slow.. im in the same situation , i applied in june and got the YL still waiting for the next. dont know when i will get the interview letter, its really taking so long.

I agree with the folks. It really can be anything that cause the delay on your case. For me however, I was so blessed that I got my interview letter for less than three months from the day I sent in my application (it only took the FBI about nine days to do background check on me. See my signature for the timeline.) All I can say is best of luck!

xxhwx, how do u know only take only 9 days for background check? How can u find out this info? tks

Is there anyway to know if my name check is still peding or aproved without going for a infopass?

So most people who apply for n400 on my timeline already got interview letter, and I am still stucking here without anything. I think one of the possibility could be name check pending, but is there anyway I can find out online or over the phone? coz the first infopass Appointment I am able to make is 1 month after...

Why do you have a need to create new thread for every question you have? It is annoying and you are creating clutter on the board already.

usually an interview is scheduled after the background check is sent back from the FBI, according to Jack the moderator.
and my case was "touched" on the USCIS website twice, 1st time on 9/30 and 2nd on 10/2, although it remains at the "testing and interview" stage since 9/30.

I got this off the "case status" page: "The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours." I guess more folks are in line for citizenship in NYC than in Indy.

xxhwx, thank you for your fast reply and congratulations on your super fast interview time-line.

Al Southner, I didn't know I can't do that, But I will be more careful in future, I guess might be I was super worried about my situation so I went out extra mile than I should. anyway I will try no to start a new treat with questions.

You don't have to be nervous, all you have to do is to search for thread addressing your particular state or city, we have plenty of those on this board. Usually, people's experiences in DOs tend to be similar or follow almost a predictable pattern, provided one doesn't get stuck in the name check black home. Once you do your FP, the ASC submit them electronically to FBI center in WV, they run them and send the results back to USCIS, usually on the same day.

Just keep a single thread and ask all your questions there... it makes the board less cluttered and you don't appear as a needy person. If you continue to worry, you will be suspended on the board by Jack or The Real Canadian...lol............lol.................:)
