I am new to this forum. I will be eligible for submitting N-400 in about 2 weeks. But looking at all the postings from other applicants from Atlanta DO, I am debating whether to relocate to places like Texas or Kansas where I see the whole process takes only about 4-6 months. Even if I add 90 days waiting period it may still be worth it as otherwise it may take over 18 months if I apply now in Atlanta.
Basically I want gurus in this forum to suggest whether it is worth it to go through relocation hassles (I can work from anywhere) and apply or bite the bullet and apply in Atlanta and take a chance. I would like to get my citizenship before the end of this year.
Any Suggestions? Will Atlanta processing times improve in future. I find that Atlanta is way back in processing N-400 applications in comparison with most DOs.
