Is it worth checking if name check has cleared?

Hi,
I am a EB2 -IN filer (PD Dec 2004). My 140 has been cleared and I485 filed August 4th, 2007. Last LUD on I485 was in December 2007.
My question is - next month hopefully we will have visa numbers and the proceesing dates for NSC are corresponding with our I485 filing date. How do we find out if the NC has been cleared and should we find that out?
Any opinions are appreciated!

It is not worth at all, you will hear more confusion and conflicting answers. Just wait for a decision which will come to your mail bob sooner or later
 
Since in your case, in all probability if your name check is pending, it is pending for more than 180 days.

It is a complete non-issue for you. You will get an approval even if NC is pending, just as I did.
