Stop worrying about PDs retrogressing. No one has been able to correctly predict how the PDs move. Let us worry about it when the PDs actually retrogress.

She says that it might retrogress in March 2002 but to what date no one knows. Wishful thinking..all July 2001 filers should get their approvals by then.

If you I-485 is filed when PD is current and say the SC is processing cases filed 2 months before your filing date, and boooom PD\'s retrogress by 2 years - what happens to your application ? What happens to your EAD, what happens to your RFE or Medical exams or FP...

Once 485 is filed your medicals are always valid. They process EAD/AP. You would not get an approval unless ur PD is current. I have seen people get FP/RFE\'s without PD being current.
 
Keep you job

I think under current economy condition, you need to worry more about keeping you job than PD retrogress.
