i am one of those unfortunate people who got stuck behind the BOATLOAD
of aug/sep/oct 99 cases. my nd is nov 99, i am eb2 india, pd 10/97. so they did not send me fp notice till feb 2001, even though i was current. the excuse was that they will send when they are ready to process, now they are ready to process but FP is done only in feb so ... waiting another few months.
I guess with PD moving so fast, they will just be busy sending approvals
for aug, sept cases for ever, will never get any further in my life time :(
This VSC is a mess :( very unhappy, just venting!!!

Same here. Except RD is Jan 2000. FP on 3/28/01 EB2/India.
I am expecting to get the I-485 approved by May,2001. Very optimistic.

Since VSC told us that we will get FP notice only when they are ready for approval, I am hoping that
we should get the approval soon.

Well.... I did fingerprinting in October 2000. But still no word at all.....

08/31/1998 - PD
05/04/2000 - RD
10/25/2000 - FP
03/16/2001 - Twidling my thumbs and oiling my rusty chains

The sad part is, I don\'t know what else could screw up after 485 is approved.

It is very interesting, coming to the US as a student; struggling through 2 degrees without enough money; looking for a job when economy was really bad; starting in one being well underpaid; experiencing extremely anxious moments trying to get entry visa validated in India; struggling through a career; and not to mention the biggest one of all, the entire greencard process. Jeez guys. We have spent a big and important chunk of our lives experiencing process we don\'t have much control over.

India/China. EB2. Yes I\'m current. (Or atleast I think so :) How do I find out about the latest status regarding being current?

Rage janti, I feel you are too optimistic about your case since everybody who applied from Oct 1999 are still waiting. No offense meant. But, you are too early to show your frustration. I hope you get your GC soon. But, its very irritating to see your comments too soon. Hold on to your horses.

Will do so, bondedslave :) I know there are plenty of people with worse cases than me. And then I\'m sure there is a fair share of lucky bastards :) This whole process is frustrating and I share the pain with you guys.

I have to say that once they get the FP results, they should, technically speaking, start adjudicating the case since they\'ve got everything. However I do not understand why we are not seeing any approvals for people who have been from Oct99-Mar00 club who have recently Jan/Feb/Mar01 fingerprinted.

Sometimes I think it is easier to predict what the US Stock markets will do compared to VSC processing.

Bibhuti,

I agree with you. (It takes a whole lot to get me irritated :) My anxieties have been getting worse lately because of a major event in my life.... I am getting married in May. I have been going out with this girl for more than a year, and in August, 2000 I proposed to her. After I did my fingerprinting in October, I was told by multiple people that I should have my GC in 3-5 months (I did not know the facts and was not familiar with this site then). So,in November, we decided to get married in May. My fiancee was brought up in the US and she is a citizen. But I\'m applying for my GC through my employer. My anxiety stems from the chance (albeit minor) that it may get rejected. (There is no known reason for rejection, but that doesn\'t make me comfortable when dealing with bureaucrats and govt. This would throw our lives into a mess. So, I tend to vent once in a while.

Thanks for the chat. Later bud.
