I live in the state of KS. I will have my Oath on March 3rd. Is it to late for me to register to vote ?
I know some states only require you to register to vote 30 days prior to elections but other states actually require you to be already registered when for example the caucuses or primary's take place. Doesn't mean you have to participate it them but you have to be registered at this point.
Also my husband is registered in IL but if he is not on deployment we are in KS of course. So if I register in KS that means of course I am a resident of KS. So if we move when we come down on orders how to I change my place of residency and is it hard or easy to do ?

I am sure you all know it but doesn't hurt repeating. Do NOT register to vote BEFORE your oath. You are not a citizen until after oath. Many times, during oath, you are given voter's registration form that you can fill in and send. If you are talking about general elections in Nov, you have plenty of time.

That's if you want to vote in the primary or caucus, not the general election. You have lots of time left to register for the election in November.
