Does it mean that my I-140 has been denied?

USCIS e-mail:

"responded to your request for more information"

They will send you a snail mail if they made a decision or not. Possibly, they will say that they still processing your case. Just wait. Let us know any updates.

Possibly they will say "they need more time to process your case".........Did you see any change of LUD in EA/ & NIW cases

This doesn't sound like denial at all. It's more likely that they have sent you are note saying "we are still processing your case"

No, it is just a reply to your inquiry on the case status. I got the same letter a month ago for my lawyers inquiry.
dont worry. it is not a denial.

Thanks

Thanks akatu, AggieCh, do I, eaglejoeli and bhakum

I was thinking that my EB1-FA application has been denied because I did not get any reply to my enquiries. Since 10 months have passed since I submitted my RFE so I was guessing may be my application has been denied and the denial letter got lost in the mail. Suddenly on Friday I got an email. I took it in two ways 1. May be my guess was true and I may get the denial letter or 2. May be my petition is still pending. But I was not very sure what it means.

Message for do I

Sorry I missed your posting on my earlier thread. Last night I could not find my ealier thread otherwise I would have posted new information about my EB1-EA case on the same old thread. The LUD for my EB1-EA has changed now to 6/10/05 and it displays the same message as I had posted on this thread. The LUD on my NIW case (receipt date 9/23/03) remains the same 10/19/04. It has not changed. This application is pending. Till date I have recieved 2 replies to my enquiries that this (NIW) is pending.

General

Does any body have any clue why it is taking so long for some RFE cases?
