Is it taking 3+ months for EAS in Chicago

I have filed my AOS application on Feb16, 2004. It has been almost 4 months now, i have not heard anything back from BCIS office. I have received receipt # and has been finger printed. Is it taking more than 4 months to get a EAD and AP from Chicago office.

since it's been more than 90 days since you filed application for EAD, go to the local office with your notice of receipt and they will issue an interim EAD for you valid while you are waiting for your AOS EAD.
