Is it required to send ORIGINAL I-94 while applying for B2? Please help!!!

Hi,

I am in a situation to change my VISA status from H4 to B2.

My H4 visa will be void on Jun 22, 2005 because of my divorce. My physical presence is required even after Jun 22, 2005 for some legal proceedings concerned with divorce.

1) What is the procedure for changing H4 to B2?
2) Is it the Form I-539 I should use for this purpose?
3) What are all the documents I should submit with the application?
4) Do I need to submit my ORIGINAL I-94 while applying this? If so, incase I need to leave USA before the dicision on my application, can I leave without I-94? Will it create any problems?

Any pointers on these are highly appreciated.

It is not easy to change the status from H4 to B, during application no need to send I 94 originals, copy of both the side sufficient.
