Is it possible to obtain asylum if I was in Europe before coming to the U.S.?

I was coming to the United States in this summer, but I've been for a couple days in another country (very gay-positive), but in the US I drove it for tourism purposes, and only over time, I was scared to return home.

I want to prove that at the time of arrival in the United States the first time I wanted to go home, I even had a ticket, but some events have forced me to change the viewpoint.

Will they deport me to the country of my first visit?

This is a good news.

The fact that I was not going to apply for asylum, when only arrived in the United States.
As proof, I will present a certificate from a psychiatrist that I have developed a fear of returning, threats from WEB and bad news.
Plus here I had a wife (but she is not yet a US citizen).
