Is it possible to have LUD on same day of FP?

I had FP appointment today morning (01/09) Last night I checked there was no change to LUD. Upon my coming home @ 2.00 PM, I saw LUD on my case. My appointment was at 10.00 AM and It happened around 10.30. Is it possible to get the LUD on same day? Or the LUD is for something different?

Usually I would say that a LUD wouldn't change in 30 minutes but I think things are changing at BCIS. I applied for EAD renewal last night and my case was already in the system this morning in less than 12 hours. With my previous EAD renewals, I had to wait atleast 3-5 business days before I could access the case through the online system. I wouldn't be surprised if the LUD change would have been due to your FP processing.

I had LUD on next day but that day is on "Sunday". Do they work in weekends ?? :)

Hi,
My case is also the same. I went for 2nd FP on 5th Jan 2007, had LUD on the same day 5/1/07, 6/1/07 and again on 8/1/07. I don't know whats happening.

it's not only possible, it is what is happening most of time. My i485 FP initiated LUD the same day (when i got to the computer from ASC there was LUD already) and when i did FP for EAD it appeared the next day (and EAD was approved the day after).
