Hi,

Two years ago, I have been accepted for admission into a university in the U.S.A under a full scholarship (R.A.) and I was given an I20 that I used to get my F1 visa.

After getting the F1 visa stamp on my passport, I had some commitments and unfortunately couldn't travel to the USA to start my study program, and my admission was cancelled at that university.

Now, I am looking for getting another admission at other university.

I wonder if the old F1 might cause troubles for me while asking for a new F1. I have never used the F1 visa I have and never been to the united states.

so, If I get a new I20 from the new university offering me admission, do u think it will be easy to ask for a new F1.. or there would be some complications in the process ?

Thanks in advance,

I think , there is no need to worry, since you have not travel to USA on F-1. You may seek a legal advice before you start your process.

F1 visa is based on the capacity that you or you family have to take care of tuition and fees while you're a student.
If you can show $$$$, you should be fine.
be prepared to explain just in case why your admission was cancelled....
