Is it possible to get EAD with out approving I-140 from Vermont Processing Center?

My I-140 is processing from Vermont Processing center. As you know it is taking almost a year to get 140 approval. Shall i get my EAD with out approval of I-140. I heard that it is happening from Vermont Center.

Can any one confirm this?

Yes. all EADs in all centers are eligible for approval before i140 approval. If your i140 application is screwed up, then you have to fix that first before you can get your EAD approved. Dont beleive twisted rumors.
