You may need to give your finger prints within 3 weeks... It usually happens between 3-6 weeks.

Two things are involved, one you need to be present in the US to do your finger prints so you may have to reschedule that if your appointment falls at the time when you are out of the country. I am sure you know the implication of that. On the other hand, your travelling would need to be updated because USCIS is interested in all your travels between when you become a lawful resident and the time you file for application for naturalization. If I were you, I will look at post from people in your city to get an overview of when your FP appointment would fall because if you can avoid reschduling, you should but if you cant, that may be a lasting resort.

But in general, you can travel if you have to but if theres any tiny bit of opportunity for you to postpone your travel, you should take it.

Wish you the best.

My trip is only for 20 days and if my finger print is scheduled before twenty days I could come back before 20days.I saw the New York City posts, the time fram is some where 3-4 weeks. and I think you give you few days to go right? so that is ok.

The Main question is can I travel second day? Even before INS receive my Documents. I will send by Fedex tomorrow and will travel next day.so is it ok to travel?

Technically, there is no constraint that you have to be in US when the application is received by CIS. Your plan sounds fine.

100% Sure that it is not necessary to be in Us when you file the Application?

You don't have to be physically present in US when you file as long as your stay outside the US doesn't break your district residency ties.

Plus you can miss your FP without rescheduling and go back on any following Wednesday for the next 3 months. It's clearly stated on the FP letter.
