I reatined an attorney to do the NIW. Although the case was approved, I am not satisfied with their service at all. Can I stop the service with them and submit the 485 petition by myself? What I should so? Do I need to inform the attorney or INS? Anyone has experience with 485 self-petition? Is it complicated? Thanks a lot.

Is it ok to stop the attorney service and do 485 on your won after 140 approval?

Many folks have sent I-485 application without an attorney. I would check the required documents and mail in the 485 to correct service center.huxf said:I reatined an attorney to do the NIW. Also, you can cancel attorney from an existing 485. check many other thread for details on "how to revoke G-28".

Thanks, fast_gc_seeker. I haven't file 485 yet. The only G28 INS have is the one filed with my I140. Does that matter? I mean is that G28 going to "carryover" to the I485 petition? Thanks

-----------NO, attorney only represent your I-485 if you send I-485 through attorney and sign G28 with him, take the I-140 approval from him
