Hi every one
thanks to this forums .. it has helped me lots
as i could gather lots of info about dv

I have two last questions ..

First:
i am goint to enter the state soon,
and i was wondering it's illegal to bring with me some (not original) copy of windows xp or vista .. also some other programs .. only one copy of each one for personal use.
is it consider to be crime.

Last one:
Do i have to take with me my last old passports (one of them with another nationality)
i already gave them a copy in the us embassy.

Sure it is illegal.

What? Were you planning on leaving the passports behind?

Rule of thumb: If your old passports are not relinquished to the authorities when you get a new one - you save them for your records and protect them just like you would with your current passport. So bring it with you and keep it as part of your personal records just like you would with your school certificates.
 
^^ Its not about whether they want to see your old passports or anything like that. But you wouldnt want that to go to wrong hands even if you already in the state and have a green card.
I have 2 different nationality passports too, theres no way I would leave them behind.
