Is INFOPASS down today?

I have tried to log in to INFOPASS today. After I enter my area code, 98101, I received this message:

At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.

Did I do anything wrong or the site is down today?

It's not infopass is down. That's how it works. It opens up only when there is an available slot in the area office that you are trying to schedule an appointment. It comes up very briefly and goes away. You have to be on top of it. I got my approval Friday and have been constantly trying to get an appointment. Finally I got one for myself on Sunday at 11.30pm and this morning one of my friend called me from work saying that it was up and I quickly grabbed another one for my wife and half hour later for my daughter though I heard one is enough for a family. I just wanted to be on safe side, so I took one for each of us. Usually it comes up for 14 days later, so if you are trying tomorrow it will be for 3/1. So your best bet is late tonight, early tomorrow morning (1 am or so) or around 8 or 9 am tommorrow. That's what I kept doing and finally managed to get the appointments.

# of appointments

We recently got our stamping done at St. Paul and had taken appointments for each of the family members. However, we were specifically told by the person at the gate that we should have taken only one appointment for the whole family. Therefore I guess it depends from center to center and from person to person. I would suggest that you try to take appointments for each of the family members, but in case you get only one, don't worry and go ahead for stamping with your whole family and very likely they will take you all in.

Appointment

Hi:

I successfully got one appointment setup for our family of four before the site rejecting our appointment setting again. I will try it again tonight.

My lawyer also told me that we only need one appointment for the family, never the less, I can always cancel unused three appointments after my confirmation with the service center.

Thanks for your help.

Infopass problem

Maybe the site was hacked by a programmer whose 485 has been pending for ages or rejected ... :D :D :D

Interesting message

You cannot schedule any more appointments at this time.

Return to USCIS On-Line

After the first appointment was scheduled. This message was on when I tried to set up the second one. When I waited for 30 minutes, the second one got through but the message was back on when I tried to make the third one. Is this possible that the site only allows to make one appointment from one IP?

After I entered my zip code trillions of times after midnight, I got "At this time, InfoPass is not available in your area." What does this damn message mean? Can we call the 1-800 number to make an appointment for passport stamp?

Is "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later" equal to "At this time, InfoPass is not available in your area." ?

Endless torture!!!!

Hey Seattler

I am also trying to take an appointment and am unsucessfull. Does infopass send email confirmation?.I know we need to take the print out of appointment when we go there(thats what my lawyer told me). I donot have a printer at home so wanted to know if it sends an email or if we have to take the print out at the time of confirmation

thank you

Unfortunately there is no email confirmation and you need the confirmation copy. I have printer at home, so I printed one for myself. But when I did for my wife and daughter, I was on terminal server connected to my office as my client does not allow internet access and so I couldn't print. What I did was copied it to word and printed it later on when I got back home. The only issue with this was the barcode for confirmation does not copy over and print. The confirmation number is at the top too, but the service center uses the barcode to scan. I am assuming they have a device that they can type too but it it better to have something than not have anything.

I think they block it from same IP for sometime, I don't know how long it is , but I was able to go back in after 30 minutes.

this is what i got: "At this time, InfoPass is not available in your area." ?

Is "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later" the same as "At this time, InfoPass is not available in your area." ?

Infopass does not send you an email confirmation.

Did you write down the confirmation number, etc.?

You can choose "cancel an appointment" option and
enter the "confirmation number".
The system will bring up your appointment and ask you whether you really want to cancel. At this time, you can print out the appointment.

BUT, do NOT try it with your real appointment.
Try to book another appointment and try that one first.

Infopass

I have tried and made my appointment last night. The time frame was between 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. I am sure you can give it a try again.

I presume that infopass just provides one day for booking. If the time segment is booked up, it closes the appointment booking until next day. When I booked at 7:00 PM, there were a lot of time I could book, they were 15 minutes apart, but when I booked the last one, there were not too much slots left. I guess that they starts new booking at 6:00 PM.

Would you like to try to make your appointment after 6:00 PM?

Just came back from my local office! I was told I can walk in anytime and they don't schedule appointments at all.

For your information:

"At this time, InfoPass is not available in your area." means the local office in your area does not have the availability to make an appoinment on line. Then, what should you do? Visit your local office!

I believe If you couldn't make an appointment online (InfoPass), you can always go to your local office for advice.

Is your local office in Tukwila

I was in the local office at Tukwila this afternoon and was confirmed that I needed four appointments for our family.

If I don't need appointment for the office visit, what this appointment for then? Please let me know if you can do it. I may go there next week.
