Is I-485 Approval Courtesy copy valid for PP Stamping at SJ

Hi,
Please let me know if INS allows Courtesy CopyI-485 Approval) for
PP stamping or should I wait for my Lawyer to send me the Original
485 apporval notice.

I did stamping in SJ last with courtesy copy. No
problem at all. In fact, a couple of my collegues
did the same last month so I took their
advice and went with courtesy copy.

BTW it is mentioned in the courtesy copy that
"take this notice to the local INS" for stamping.

But when I called my Lawyer, he said better to
wait for original but I saw many people getting
the stamp with courtesy copy, so we decided
to go with courtesy copy and there was no problem.
